Location: Broadford, Isle of Skye
Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Supervisor to join our dynamic hospitality team in our restaurant on the Isle of Skye.
The ideal candidate will lead by example on the floor, support daily operations, and help create a positive, well-organised environment for both guests and staff. Previous supervisory experience in hospitality is preferred, but a strong background in front-of-house with leadership potential will also be considered.
Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day running of the restaurant and bar during service
- Lead and motivate front-of-house and bar staff, setting high service standards
- Act as the main point of contact during shifts, handling guest feedback and resolving issues professionally
- Assist with staff training, onboarding, and ongoing development
- Coordinate service flow between front-of-house, bar, and kitchen teams
- Ensure compliance with food safety, health & safety, and licensing regulations
- Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cash handling where required
- Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming venue at all times
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a supervisory or senior front-of-house role is preferred
- Strong hospitality background with excellent guest service skills
- Confident leadership and communication abilities
- Ability to remain calm, organised, and solutions-focused during busy periods
- Good understanding of food safety and licensing regulations
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Basic cash handling and till experience
- A positive, professional attitude and strong team ethic
