Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Site Manager to oversee and coordinate projects from inception to completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing teams, ensuring safety standards, and delivering projects on time and within budget. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a proactive individual with strong management skills to lead diverse construction operations on-site. Duties
- Supervise daily site activities, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure smooth workflow.
- Monitor progress against project timelines and budgets, implementing corrective actions as necessary
- Manage and supervise site personnel, including assigning tasks and evaluating performance and reporting back to the office.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
- Oversee procurement of materials and equipment required for construction activities liaising with the main office.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential issues and resolve them promptly
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction management with a strong background in supervising teams on-site
- Demonstrable management skills with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively
- Previous experience in supervising large-scale construction projects is highly desirable
- Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving abilities
- Relevant qualifications in construction management are preferred but not essential.
- Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail
- Ability to be hands on within the project if required.
This role will take the right candidate all over the UK working for Tier 1 & 2 clients. You must be flexible in your approach to working away and hours required on-site. Weekends may be required in time pressured contracts but not a standard requirement.
Pay: £40,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
