Full job description

We are looking for a highly capable, professional Dental Receptionist to join our growing practice.

This is a key front-of-house role suited to someone who is organised, confident, and thrives in a busy, people-facing environment.

What this role requires:

Excellent communication skills – clear, confident, and professional at all times
Emotional intelligence – able to understand patients, manage situations calmly, and build trust
A proactive and reliable approach – takes ownership of their role and supports the team
Strong organisation and multitasking skills – able to manage calls, patients, and admin efficiently
Calm under pressure – able to prioritise and stay focused in a busy setting

You must have:

Experience working in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment
Evidence of managing multiple priorities at once
A professional and dependable approach to work
Confidence handling patient queries and conversations with care and clarity

This role would suit someone from dental, healthcare, hospitality, or a sales environment, where communication and people skills are essential.

The role:

Managing patient journeys from first contact through to completion of treatment
Handling calls and enquiries in a professional and friendly manner
Supporting clinicians and ensuring smooth daily operations
Discussing treatment options and guiding patients through next steps
Maintaining accurate records with strong attention to detail
