Full job description

A&E Fire and Security Ltd is a specialist in the fire and security industry installing and maintaining fire and security equipment and systems to a wide variety of new and existing customers throughout the South West, Midlands, South Wales and M4 Corridor to London.

We pride ourselves on being a committed team who strive to deliver an excellent customer service that exceeds our customer’s expectations. It is extremely important to us to provide a service that protects our customers and their organisation, and protects their property, colleagues, friends and family from the devastating effects of fire.

We now have an exciting opportunity for an Fire Risk Assessment and Training Administrator to join our team. We are open to discussing flexible working hours for the right person.

Job Requirements and Responsibilities

Professionally liaising with customers to schedule a range of services
Proficient use of Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel
Serving as the first point of contact for customers and upholding a professional, positive image
Responding to general enquiries promptly, efficiently, and with professionalism
Communicating clearly and effectively with a diverse range of team members
Managing and coordinating diaries to minimise travel time and prevent unnecessary journeys
Proofreading and formatting finalised documents and certificates before dispatching to customers
Ensuring all completed jobs are accurately documented and invoiced accordingly
Scheduling tasks in alignment with contractual obligations
Accurately inputting data into the customer database
Organising and sharing diary appointments with the relevant stakeholders
Regularly updating the Team Manager with key information and updates
Preparing customer quotations for managerial sign-off and submitting tenders where required
Proactively following up on outstanding customer quotations

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day issues independently
Strong time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
Flexible and adaptable approach to changing demands
Confident in using office administration systems and digital tools
Collaborative mindset, working closely with the Team Manager to achieve shared goals
Team-oriented with a joined-up approach to working across departments

The candidate must be used to working in a busy, “quick response” environment and must be able to be a reliable and assertive member of a busy operational team. It's also expected that the candidate will have good understanding of commonly used Microsoft office applications. The requirement for this role is a part time based on 25 hours a week. We are open to discussing flexible working hours for the right person..

Pay: From £28,000.00 per year
