We're The Chislehurst GP, from South London Medical; a small team inspired to start a brand new private practice to focus on what matters most: high-quality care, proper time with patients, and continuity that makes a real difference. Our central mission is to increase the number of healthy years lived by our patients, and by joining our team you'll directly help us deliver on this vision.

The Role

We're doctors who care deeply about our patients, and setting up this new venture means we have the opportunity to do more. As the Operations Executive at our Chislehurst site, you’ll be employee #1. You’ll maintain high operational standards to ensure a fantastic patient experience, and have the opportunity to build on that foundation using digital and traditional marketing to grow our customer base and achieve our mission.

In short, you'll be an integral part of the team that will grow the Chislehurst GP into the leading local provider of private family medicine. You will work directly with the owners, and:

Customer Service: Be based at our reception desk, respond to all customer requests, and create a fantastic customer experience that facilitates growth. Above all else, you’ll build loyalty among customers from delivering exceptional service and building strong relationships, and be the face of the clinic to people that visit us.
Technology: Supervise and administer our website and operational systems to ensure high-performance.
Logistics: Manage the availability of clinics, doctor timetables and support customer bookings.
Procurement: Manage our supply chain to ensure clinicians have what they need, when they need it.
Growth: Create and implement strategies to acquire new customers and increase the lifetime value of existing customers.
Finance: Facilitate payments from customers and ensure credit control is managed effectively.
Operational Strategy: Work with the General Manager to implement and develop ways to offer a continuously improving service to patients.
Clinical Standards: Liaise with the Clinical Director to ensure clinical standards are being met and organisational policies are followed.

You

You're curious, confident, and thrive in an environment of supported autonomy to achieve high standards of work. You’re looking for something that gives you the independence to have ownership of what you do and how, with the resources and capacity to do more with less in service of a meaningful purpose.

You have:

Experience in a range of disciplines, such as marketing, sales and operations.
IT proficiencies including MS office and third party work management and marketing systems. (We use Semble to manage our clinical work and Wordpress for our website.)
Great time management, organisation and flexibility.
Pride in your work and in doing the best job you can.
Initiative, judgement, resourcefulness, common sense and local knowledge.
The ability to work effectively both independently and as a team member.
The ability to engage with colleagues and customers in a friendly, professional way.
Latent curiosity, and a desire for continuous learning.

Beyond that, there are some requirements you need to meet to be eligible to work in this role:

Eligible to work in UK.
Able to work from our clinic in Chislehurst.

Pay: £30,000.00 per year
