Join the Forest Freight Team

Forest Freight is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Customer Service Clerk to join our busy Operations team.

This role is primarily focused on accurately booking customer transport requirements into our Transport Management System (TMS), ensuring customer instructions are processed efficiently and supporting the smooth running of our daily transport operations.

Key Responsibilities

Receive customer transport orders via email, telephone, and online platforms.
Accurately input and manage customer jobs within the company's Transport Management System.
Ensure all collection and delivery details are entered correctly and in a timely manner.
Liaise with customers regarding booking requirements, delivery schedules, and service updates.
Communicate with transport planners and operations staff to ensure customer requirements are met.
Monitor customer bookings and update records as required.
Resolve customer queries and provide professional support throughout the transport process.
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company procedures.
Assist with general administration duties within the customer service department.

Skills and Experience

Previous administration, customer service, or data entry experience.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Confident using computer systems and Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
