Full job description

Shop Assistant

To work in a busy raw pet food shop.

We are looking for a hard working individual who is passionate about raw feeding and natural health care for pets.

Must be fit and capable of heavy lifting.

The successful candidate will be required to cover the shop, serving customers, filling shelves and freezers, unpacking and checking incoming deliveries. Food is stored industrial walk in freezers. So you must be ok with working in cold conditions all year around.

Applicants must have a knowledge of raw feeding dogs and/or cats. This is essential so please include how much experience you have with raw feeding on your covering letter.

2-3 shifts per week including weekend work based across both our shops one in Studley and one in Tardebigge.

Possible shifts:

Tuesday - Friday 10- 2 or 10-6 and Saturday and Sunday 10-4. It will include at least one weekday and one weekend day.

Please include a covering letter detailing your pets and any relevant information. A covering letter telling us about yourself and your dogs is more important than a cv. If there is no information about you and your dogs I am afraid your application will go no further.

Due to the location of both shops applicants must have their own transport as there is limited public transport in the area.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £10.85-£13.00 per hour
