Salary: £28,000 – £32,000 (dependent on experience)

Job Title: Fabricator / WelderJob Description

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling and fabricating metal components to a high standard, ensuring all work meets quality and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Assemble fabricated metal parts using a range of welding techniques
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical diagrams
Operate welding equipment including MIG, TIG, and arc welders
Conduct quality inspections to ensure finished products meet required standards
Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects efficiently and on time
Troubleshoot fabrication issues using sound mechanical knowledge
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
Carry out additional duties as required to support business needs

Requirements

Proven experience as a Fabricator/Welder or in a similar role
Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and arc welding techniques
Experience using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication machinery
Strong mechanical knowledge and problem-solving ability
High level of attention to detail and pride in workmanship
Basic mathematical skills for accurate measurements and calculations
Ability to work with precision and follow technical specifications
Physically capable of handling materials and equipment
Strong commitment to health and safety practices
Reliable, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a team

Working Hours

Monday to Friday
8-hour shifts
Weekend availability may be required
