About the Role:
- Entails the design and delivery of high-quality inclusive theoretical and practical teaching, to meet learning outcomes for modules on the RAMP accredited MSci Veterinary Physiotherapy and wider related topics
- Provide student-focussed academic personal tutoring, supported by on-campus specialist centres, including the Achievement and Success Centre and the Employability, Skills and Careers Team, to develop industry-ready graduate Veterinary Physiotherapists.
- Planning, designing and delivery of student assessments followed by marking and moderation of student work in line with Hartpury University’s quality assurance processes
- Requires impactful engagement with research or equivalent scholarly activity to support excellence in teaching and learning and the student experience.
About You:
- You will be a dynamic, professional and experienced RAMP registered Veterinary Physiotherapist with post-qualification industry experience.
- Hold a teaching qualification or be willing to complete a teaching development programme.
- Highly motivated, self-reliant and enthusiastic and passionate about delivering the highest quality of teaching, learning and student experience to our veterinary physiotherapy students.
- A record of strong interpersonal, communication and team working skills, also the ability to manage your own time.
- Teaching and assessing/coaching experience is desirable but not essential
- Have post-qualification/industry experience within the subject field, with research practice being advantageous.
- Evidence of engagement with research and scholarly activity and a willingness to further develop and contribute to this area as a university academic.
