Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Commercial Paint Sprayer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying high-quality paint finishes on a variety of commercial projects, ensuring durability and aesthetic appeal. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for painting and a strong understanding of tools and equipment used in the trade. Candidates must be physically fit, capable of heavy lifting, and possess a keen eye for detail to deliver exceptional results.
Duties
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure proper paint adhesion.
- Operate spray guns and other painting equipment efficiently to apply coatings evenly across large surfaces.
- Mix paints, and other coatings according to specifications to achieve desired colours and finishes.
- Use hand tools and power tools to assist in surface preparation and finishing tasks.
- Perform heavy lifting of materials, equipment, and supplies necessary for painting projects.
- Ensure all work areas are kept clean and organised throughout the project duration.
- Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to maintain a safe working environment.
- Inspect completed work for quality assurance, making touch-ups or corrections as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial painting or related trade roles is preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge relevant to operating spray equipment and hand/power tools.
- Proficiency with hand tools
- Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively.
- Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or working at heights.
- Attention to detail with a focus on achieving high-quality finishes.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Pay: £13.72-£19.00 per hour
