Sales Coordinator

Progression to Sales Representative

Construction Materials | Aggregates | Worcestershire

£28,000+ DOE | Uncapped Commission | OTE £45,000+

Simson Aggregate Solutions is an ambitious and fast-growing supplier of aggregates and construction materials. As our business continues to expand, we're looking for a motivated Sales Coordinator to join our team.

This is more than just an office-based sales role. We're looking for someone who wants to develop into a Sales Representative, with full training, mentoring and genuine career progression available as you gain experience.

Whether you already have experience within builders' merchants, construction supplies or building materials—or you're looking to take the next step in your sales career—we'd love to hear from you.

The Role

Working from our Worcestershire office, you'll support our growing customer base by pricing enquiries, managing orders and building strong relationships with customers and suppliers.

As your knowledge and confidence develop, you'll begin visiting customers and suppliers, progressing into an external Sales Representative role.

Your responsibilities will include:

Managing customer enquiries and preparing quotations.
Building relationships with both new and existing customers.
Developing business through proactive telephone sales.
Liaising with suppliers to source the best products and pricing.
Processing orders and ensuring excellent customer service.
Supporting the external sales function as you develop.
Progressing into customer visits and business development opportunities.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is:

Friendly, confident and enjoys speaking with customers.
Organised with excellent communication skills.
Keen to learn and develop a long-term career in sales.
Ideally experienced within construction, builders' merchants or building materials (preferred but not essential).
Motivated, ambitious and eager to grow with the business.
Holds a full UK driving licence.

£28,000+ basic salary (depending on experience)
Uncapped commission
Realistic OTE £45,000+
Full product and sales training
Clear progression into a Sales Representative role
25 days holiday plus bank holidays

Working Hours

Monday to Friday
8:00am – 5:00pm
