Office Junior / Electrical Contract Administrator

Location: Chigwell, Essex
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
Salary: National Minimum Wage (dependent on age)

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Office Junior to join our busy electrical contracting office in Chigwell. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in administration within the construction and electrical industry.

Working closely with our Contracts Managers and Office Team, you will provide administrative support to ensure the smooth running of day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

Answering incoming telephone calls and emails professionally.
Filing, scanning and organising office documents.
Assisting with the preparation of quotations, invoices and job documentation.
Scheduling engineers and updating work diaries.
Liaising with clients, suppliers and subcontractors.
Ordering office supplies and materials when required.
Maintaining accurate records and updating company databases.
Assisting with health & safety paperwork and compliance documents.
General office administration and support to the contracts team.

Requirements

Good communication and organisational skills.
Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
Good attention to detail.
Positive attitude with the ability to work as part of a team.
Punctual, reliable and professional.
