Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Management Accountant to join our Central Finance team. As an Assistant Management Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting the Finance function across the business. You will gain hands-on experience in management accounts, financial reporting, and business processes, while working towards a professional accounting qualification.

Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations

Produce and distribute monthly management information to the wider business

Support the preparation of statutory accounts and audit documentation

Perform bank reconciliations and post bank transactions

Maintain the fixed asset register and process associated entries

Assist with credit card and vehicle management processes

Complete monthly petty cash reconciliations and analysis

Prepare and submit statistical returns (ONS)

Support the implementation of a company-wide ERP system

Contribute to ad hoc projects as directed by the Group Financial Controller

Build strong working relationships across the business

Identify and suggest process improvements to drive efficiencies

Study support provided towards a professional qualification (CIMA/ACCA)

Degree educated (or equivalent)

Currently studying or planning to study towards a professional accounting qualification (CIMA/ACCA)

Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

Confident communicator with a collaborative approach

Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel

Experience with ERP systems and Power BI is advantageous
