Join our dynamic team as a Sales and Logistics Coordinator for a major packaging manufacturer based at our premises in Foxhills Industrial estate, nestled near Scunthorpe! We're not just any packaging manufacturer; we're a global force, exporting our products to around 20 countries worldwide. At the heartbeat of our operations, you'll be the linchpin connecting us with our valued customers, ensuring their needs are met from order placement to delivery, all while exuding confidence and enthusiasm for our brand.
Roles and responsibilities:
· Seamlessly process customer orders from start to finish, ensuring accuracy at every step—from order receipt to invoicing
· Be the friendly face behind our brand, nurturing relationships with existing customers and warmly welcoming new enquiries
· Coordinate with carriers and freight forwarders
· Keep our customer files up to date on SAP and related software, maintaining up-to-date product and pricing information
· Experience working in a fast paced sales and logistics office environment and is capable of making quick decisions that are right for the company and the customer
· Good understanding of the transit of goods from overseas, import and export documentation
· Brand ambassador who lives and breathes the company values
· Proficient on email, word and excel
· Attention to detail
· Be prepared to take on a variety of tasks
· Experience with SAP/ SAP S/4 Hana desirable
Qualifications and skills required:
· Highly competent on all Microsoft Office programmes
· Keen eye for detail
· Ability to work under pressure
· Drive to achieve a high standard of quality and efficiency
· Strong initiative
· Positive attitude
· Highly organised
· Confident speaking on the phone and face to face
· Previous experience in SAP desired, but not essential
Hours of work: Monday-Friday 09:00-17:00
