We are seeking an organised, personable, and proactive Practice Manager / Receptionist to become a key member of our team.
This is a varied position combining front-of-house reception duties with practice management responsibilities. You will be the first point of contact for our patients and play a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the practice.
o Welcoming patients and providing an exceptional customer experience.
o Managing appointment bookings, recalls, and treatment schedules.
o Handling telephone, email, and online enquiries professionally.
o Processing payments and maintaining accurate patient records.
o Coordinating patient journeys for cosmetic and restorative treatments.
o Managing patient communications and follow-up appointments.
o Overseeing the daily running of the practice.
o Supporting clinicians and the wider team to ensure efficient operations.
o Monitoring KPIs, appointment utilisation, and patient conversion rates.
o Managing staff rotas, holidays, and attendance records.
o Ensuring compliance with CQC requirements and practice policies.
o Liaising with suppliers, laboratories, and external service providers.
o Assisting with marketing initiatives, social media coordination, and patient engagement activities.
o Supporting business growth through excellent patient relationship management.
o Previous experience in a dental reception, dental management, or healthcare administration role.
o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
o Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
o A professional and confident telephone manner.
o Experience using dental software systems (e.g. Software of Excellence and Exact) is desirable.
o Knowledge of private dentistry and cosmetic treatment coordination would be advantageous.
o Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
