Company Overview

Martin Pendered & Co Ltd is a well-established rental property and management company dedicated to providing exceptional service.

We are seeking a dedicated Inventory Clerk and Lettings Negotiator to join our busy team in Wellingborough. This role is vital in maintaining our high standards of customer service.

The Role

This is a varied role which would suit someone who enjoys working in a busy office environment and can handle both administrative and customer-facing tasks.

Duties may include:

Conduct property check out and check in inspections and produce inventory reports
Ensuring properties are safe, compliant, and well maintained and ready for move ins
Identify maintenance issues and coordinate with contractors, landlords & tenants
Arrange maintenance works and oversee through to completion of works
General office administration
Answering telephone and email enquiries
Diary management and arranging appointments
Property Viewings
Support the day-to-day running of the office

About You:

Previous lettings experience would be an advantage
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Professional, reliable and personable
Able to work independently and as part of a small team
Flexible and willing to provide additional holiday cover when required
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle essential

Hours of Work:

A total of approx 34 hours per week
Working Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday (four full days per week) 9am to 5pm
Working alternate Saturdays (9am til 1pm)

Additional Information:

20 days holiday per year (pro rata) plus bank holidays
Company Pension Scheme

Pay: £25,000.00 per year

Work Location: In person
