Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical systems, be able to troubleshoot and repair issues efficiently, and possess excellent communication skills. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. A commitment to safety and adherence to regulations is essential.

Duties

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
Conduct thorough inspections of electrical components to identify potential issues.
Troubleshoot electrical problems and provide effective solutions in a timely manner.
Communicate effectively with clients to explain work performed and recommend additional services when necessary (upselling).
Maintain accurate records of work completed, including data entry for service reports.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards while performing duties.
Collaborate with other tradespeople as required on larger projects.

Qualifications

Proven experience as an Electrician or in a similar role within the electrical field.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess situations quickly and accurately.
Proficient in English; bilingual or multilingual candidates (especially Spanish) are highly desirable.
Excellent phone etiquette for client interactions and scheduling appointments.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with clients and team members alike.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
