Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and vigilant Door Supervisor to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for managing access control, maintaining a secure environment, and providing excellent customer service. Your proactive approach and keen observation skills will help prevent incidents and promote a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be an integral part of a vibrant team dedicated to safety and professionalism.

Duties

Monitor entry and exit points to verify identification and authorize access for staff and visitors.
Conduct thorough surveillance using CCTV systems to oversee activity within the premises and identify potential security threats when required to review incidents.
Implement loss prevention strategies by observing suspicious behavior and intervening when necessary
Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies, coordinating with local police and emergency services as needed
Enforce venue policies, ensuring all guests adhere to safety guidelines and code of conduct
Perform regular patrols of the premises to identify hazards, check for unauthorized access, and maintain overall security integrity
Maintain detailed records of security activities, incidents, and visitor logs for accountability and reporting purposes

Requirements

Proven experience as a Door Supervisor or in a similar security role with active certification/license where applicable
Ability to respond effectively in emergency situations with calmness and professionalism
SIA Door Supervisor license is a must
Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with guests, staff, and emergency responders
Physical fitness to stand, walk, and perform patrols for extended periods throughout shifts
Must be able to work week days & weekends
