Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and self-motivated Nail Technician to operate as an independent professional within our Spa Salon. This role offers flexibility and the opportunity to build your own client base, providing specialised nail services in a professional setting. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to deliver high-quality treatments. As a self-employed professional, you will manage your own schedule and services, ensuring a personalised experience for each client. Option to use Salon booking system and Marketing tools.

Responsibilities

Provide a range of nail treatments including Spa manicures, Spa pedicures, gel nails, builder gel and any other nail services trained in.
Maintain a clean and hygienic workspace in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Build strong relationships with clients through exceptional customer service and communication skills.
Manage appointments efficiently, ensuring timely service delivery whilst maintaining a welcoming environment.
Promote your services through social media or other channels to attract new clients and retain existing ones.
Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in nail services.
As Self Employed proof of own Indemnity insurance and certificates required.
File own Tax Return and NI under self employment.

Experience

Proven experience as a Nail Technician with min 1 year experience.
Nail Technician or Beauty Relevant Certification (Level 2 Nail or Beauty Qualification)
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English.
Strong organisational skills to manage appointments and client records independently.
Ability to work flexibly, adapting to client needs and scheduling requirements.
Knowledge of health and safety standards related to nail treatments is essential. This position offers an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic professional looking to operate independently within a supportive environment while delivering outstanding nail services.

What we will provide:

Provide you with support in building your Nail services as your own business working along side Skin Unique.
Newly renovated Nail Spa Room off from reception to work in a private setting offering your nail services.
Nail room set up with Spa manicure desk and Spa Pedicure station with Footsie Spa bowl.
Footsie Spa bowl disposable liners provided for individual client use.
Hot Cabinet, Sterilization cabinet for tools and table lamp can be used in room.
Your own set of Keys to enter premises and work your own hours (Monday to Saturday) Sundays can be negotiated
Fully function kitchen to use
All towels included and laundry machines available to use
Current Gel and Builder Gel polishes can be used while stock lasts and negotiated going forward.
Competitive daily and weekly room rental rates available. Ideally looking for someone want to build business as own and all current nail clients moved onto you. (Due to demand on other treatments with other Skin Unique therapist)
You will be part of our friendly team but with the flexibility as running the nail services as your own business working alongside us getting foot fall from Skin Unique and our neighbouring hair salon in same premisses.

Pay: From £30.00 per hour
