About us

At, We are fun scientists, our goal is to enthuse and inspire children towards science and scientific method using fun experiments, demonstrations and games.

We are seeking a dynamic and engaging children's science clubs and parties presenter to join our team. As a presenter, you will have the opportunity to educate and entertain children between 4-12yrs through your fun bubbly personality and our amazing assortment of lessons and experiments. Delivering school clubs, workshops, shows and themed parties you're guaranteed an exciting, varied and fun time at work.

If you have a passion for science and fun, we want to hear from you!

We are offering at least two afternoon clubs, with the option to increase earnings/hours with weekend parties/Workshops/Office work and Charity events.

Responsibilities:

- Deliver engaging clubs/ workshops and parties to children aged 4-12yrs

- Educate and inform about science topics through experimentation and science play

- Ability to work independently - after training is provided, you must feel comfortable with leading the sessions

Qualifications:

- PVG required for this role. If you don't have one we would need to start the application immediately.

- Strong public speaking skills with the ability to captivate and engage children

- Excellent verbal communication skills, including the ability to articulate ideas clearly and effectively

- Knowledge or experience in the field of science is preferred

- Strong organizational skills and great initiative

Note:

- A PVG or an enhanced DBS is required for this role

- Need to be available at least on two days from Tuesday through to Thursday afternoons (2.30pm-4.30pm clubs start around 3pm and last an hour)

- Weekend availablity is optional and pays a higher rate

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £20.00-£50.00 per hour
