Are you passionate about boats, energetic, and looking for your foot in the door of a premium, fast-paced industry? This is your chance. We are a dynamic boat brokerage looking for a full-time Junior Sales Assistant to work directly alongside and assist our Head of Sales & Marketing.
This isn't your average desk job. One day you’ll be drafting marketing copy for a luxury cruiser, the next you’ll be out on the docks taking photos or helping move a vessel. If you are organised, eager to learn, and don't mind getting your hands a little salty, we want to hear from you!
Duties
- Showcase our Listings: Take high-quality photographs of boats and write compelling, accurate technical specifications for new listings.
- Master Marine Conveyancing: Learn how to draft legal sales contracts, title paperwork, and completion documents to close deals properly.
- Build Technical Expertise: Develop a solid understanding of different boat styles, hull types, and basic marine mechanics/systems.
- Drive Content: Help manage and create engaging social media marketing across our multiple brands.
- Keep Us Moving: Assist with the physical handling, cleaning, and moving of boats around the marina/yard.
- Master the Back Office: Support the Head of Sales with crucial sales administration to keep deals moving smoothly.
- Conduct market research: Identify potential clients and industry trends
- Manage administrative tasks: Updating CRM systems, scheduling appointments, and maintaining accurate records
- Collaborate with internal teams: Ensuring smooth delivery of products or services to clients
Requirements
- Proven communication skills in English, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and confidently
- Valid driving licence is preferred.
- Strong IT skills.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated organisational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
The Junior Sales Assistant will provide vital operational, administrative, and marketing support to the Head of Sales & Marketing. This role is designed as a career-launchpad, split between office-based administrative/marketing duties and hands-on, outdoor work.
Pay: £22,568.00-£26,436.00 per year
