We are looking for a Senior Project Manager – Solar & Energy Systems who can take full ownership of complex renewable energy projects from initial planning through to successful delivery. This is not just a coordination role—you will be responsible for shaping how projects are executed across residential, commercial, and large-scale solar installations.
You will lead multidisciplinary teams, manage contractors and engineers, and act as the key link between technical delivery, client expectations, and operational excellence. You are the person who ensures that clean energy projects move from concept to reality—on time, on budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
Project Delivery Leadership:
Oversee the full lifecycle of solar PV and renewable energy projects from planning to final commissioning.
Planning & Execution:
Develop detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations for multiple concurrent projects.
Technical Coordination:
Work closely with engineers, electricians, designers, and external contractors to ensure accurate implementation of system designs.
Compliance & Safety:
Ensure all projects meet UK electrical regulations, building standards, and health & safety requirements.
Stakeholder Management:
Communicate clearly with clients, suppliers, and internal teams, ensuring alignment across all phases of delivery.
Risk & Quality Control:
Identify risks early, implement mitigation strategies, and maintain high-quality standards throughout project execution.
On-Site Oversight:
Conduct site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure installations meet design specifications.
What We Are Looking For
Experience:
5+ years in project management within solar energy, renewable energy, electrical engineering, or construction environments.
Technical Understanding:
Strong knowledge of solar PV systems, electrical installation processes, or energy infrastructure projects.
Leadership Skills:
Experience managing teams, contractors, or multi-disciplinary project groups.
Project Delivery Mindset:
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
Communication:
Strong ability to coordinate between technical teams, clients, and operational stakeholders.
Mobility:
Full UK driving licence preferred for site travel across project locations.

Pay: £60,417.96-£75,819.44 per year
