Lifeguard

Location: Prior Park College, Downside School & Fosse Way School

Casual | Flexible shifts | Ideal for lifeguards, aged 16+

LIFEGUARD - QUALIFIED | up to £13.68 per hour

Are you friendly, confident, and passionate about helping others enjoy the water safely? We’re looking for friendly, energetic and responsible Lifeguards to join our Mighty Splash team!

Lifeguard duties:

supervising swimming lessons, general swims
welcoming customers
attending training to keep your experience up-to-date
helping the swim teachers out

You’ll also learn valuable skills in customer service, teamwork, communication, safeguarding, and risk awareness—perfect for anyone starting their career or looking to build experience in leisure, teaching, childcare, fitness, or public service.

What you’ll need

RLSS National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ)
Good communication skills, reliability, and awareness of safety
A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and confidence to challenge unsafe behaviour

Bonus points (not essential!)

Experience working with children
Experience working as a lifeguard
Previous customer service experience

Applicants will be required to complete an Enhanced DBS disclosure form and bring evidence of identity, Right to Work in the UK and qualifications. We also require 2 references.
