Full-time, 35 hours per week (Fixed Term Contract until June 30th 2027)
Appointed at Grade 4:11 (Annual Salary £24,515).Please note that this annual salary figure is based on a twelve-month contract. Actual salary will be pro-rata to this, depending on start date

Who are we looking for?
We are recruiting for an Events Promotion & Sales Co-ordinator to develop and oversee a promotion and sales strategy which aims to maximise commercial opportunity across all Union venues, events and related campaign activities.
As a key member of the team, they shall ensure that all events strategies achieve their business objectives as well as liaising with other members of our team to showcase the Union and deliver an outstanding student experience.
Through extensive market research, the postholder shall provide competitor analysis, updates on latest consumer trends and opportunities for business development.
Based at both Singleton and Bay Campus, the post holder shall also support the Union’s operations at Bay Campus. This role will require regular late evenings and weekend work to support the activities of the events department and so access to appropriate transport is essential.
What skills will you need?
The successful candidate will ideally have a marketing or events qualification but this is not essential. They can have experience in a similar role within an events environment, including leading successful teams which will form a good platform for our own internal training. Preferably, they will hold a Personal Licence.
This role will regular late evenings and weekend work to support the activities of the events department and so a full driving licence is essential.
