Job Summary

We’re looking for an Unqualified Early Years Assistant to join our Yate Nursery, on the outskirts of Bristol. This is a great opportunity to make a real difference in children’s lives while starting or developing a long-term career in a supportive and close-knit setting.

Unqualified Early Years Assistant
£12.71 per hour (with additional benefits worth £4,742 per annum after one year’s service)
Yate – outskirts of Bristol on a growing new-build estate with a large on-site car park
Full-time, Part-time or Flexible Working can be supported
30 hours a week

You’ll support the delivery of high-quality care and education in a safe, engaging environment, helping each child develop through inspiring activities and nurturing relationships across age groups.

What you’ll do:

Support engaging learning experiences in line with the EYFS
Assist with each child’s individual development and wellbeing
Build positive relationships with families and colleagues
Help maintain high standards of safeguarding and care

What we’re looking for:

A passion for supporting children’s learning and development
A team-focused, proactive approach and willingness to learn
Strong communication skills and a positive attitude

What you’ll get:
