Executive Assistant/Business Support
Job summary
We are a successful and growing floristry brand seeking a real self-starter with a highly organised mindset to provide both operational and executive business support to the senior management team and be a point of contact for our team of Florists across the UK.
This is an exciting opportunity for a forward-thinking, hands on Executive Assistant who naturally thrives in a fast-paced, high-impact environment, is confident managing their own workload, used to having to change priorities and able to work both on their own at times and within a team.
We are looking for someone who has a flexible approach, has drive and a willingness to learn, comfortable with a varied role and travelling to our stores on occasions. We are also looking for someone who is keen to make a difference and who is able to use initiative and work with us in an ever changing fast paced environment and willing to take the lead with ad hoc tasks and able to problem solve.
The role also heavily involves being a key point of contact for our team members in our stores across the UK, handling staff queries, creation of working rotas, holiday requests, resolving issues within the stores, managing shop premises, inducting new team members on site, accurate recording of information and assisting the payroll team.

The role will be based between two offices, Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire and Steeple Claydon, Buckinghamshire and there will be visits required to our stores throughout the UK.
Key responsibilities
The role involves and is not restricted to liaising with the Founder and Head of Operations offering daily support with ad hoc tasks, support to other senior team members as and when required, preparing and managing of rotas, holidays, sickness, recording and submission of hours to payroll, managing of premises, management of health and safety in stores, the running of recruitment campaigns, interviewing and creating of contracts, inducting new team members on site, creating and embedding company processes, recording of information, record keeping, production of well structured documentation such as letters, agendas, reports and presentations, dealing with ad hoc issues and resolving as and when required.
Essential Attributes
Flexible and responsive, with a positive attitude to work.
A willingness to learn and willing to problem solve as and when required and able to take the lead with projects.
Clear and concise communication both written and verbal and able to interact with employees, Senior Managers and external parties.
Experience
Experience working as either a Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant, Business Coordinator or working within a business support role.
Used to working to tight deadlines.
Management of sensitive and confidential information with the ability to use discretion at all times.
Data protection compliance.
Proficiency in Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Word, Excel.
Experience in HR is desirable but not essential.
Pay: £31,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
