The Role
We're looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our team at our Rock Shop in Wadebridge.
You'll help prepare fresh food to a high standard while maintaining excellent food hygiene and cleanliness throughout the kitchen. This is a varied role in a busy environment where you'll work closely with the team to ensure products are prepared safely and efficiently.
Your Responsibilities
- Prepare fresh hot and cold filled rolls.
- Assist with preparing deli recipes.
- Bake pasties and other pastries (holiday cover).
- Maintain high food hygiene and quality standards.
- Keep kitchen and production areas clean and organised.
- Safely operate industrial ovens and kitchen equipment.
- Support the wider team with other kitchen duties as required.
What We're Looking For

- Flexible to provide cover for holidays and sickness.
- Reasonable level of physical fitness.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Previous food preparation experience is desirable but not essential, as full training can be provided.
