We have a new opportunity for a Kitchen Porter / Catering Assistant to join our dedicated team at Bude. Reporting to the Head Chef, the successful candidate will work the wider kitchen team to maintain high standard of cleanliness and hygiene at all times.
Key Duties:
- Keeping the Kitchen area clean and tidy
- Ensuring all cutlery, crockery and kitchen equipment is kept clean and ready for use.
- Supporting the cooks with basic food preparation
- Supporting the Care colleagues with service
- Other general kitchen duties as directed by the Head Chef and Cooks
- Previous experience as a kitchen assistant or in a kitchen environment is desirable, but not essential as training will be provided
- DBS check required
Pay: £12.90-£16.13 per hour
