Shed Scene are looking for an Accounts & Administration Clerk to work in their busy office on the Kings Hill Industrial Estate in Bude, Cornwall. The right candidate must have a “CAN DO” attitude and be versatile in terms of the role required.
The position will be part-time, working Thursday's & Friday's and become permanent for the right candidate with potential opportunity to increase hours and undertake more varied work.
Good communication skills are essential and experience in Excel spreadsheets and SAGE 50 accounting would be an advantage. Primarily the successful candidate will need to be involved in credit control, purchasing, sales and purchase ledger accounting, pricing structures, stocktaking, data entry, filing, finance and banking.
Methodical and good organisational skills are required in this position. The role will mean working as part of a small team and general day to day answering of telephone calls/customer enquiries etc., will also be necessary. As will additional time to cover holiday or extended sickness.
We use SAGE 50 Accounts, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Publisher and also Adobe InDesign.
Preferred working hours will be 7.30am until 5.30pm with a half hour lunch break, but slightly reduced working day hours may be negotiable. The position and initial training will commence immediately and can be carried out on different days to start with.
We offer 20 days paid holiday plus bank holidays per annum. Holidays for Part-time positions will be pro-rata. NEST Pension scheme.
Initial pay rate will be subject to experience.
Pay: £12.75-£14.00 per hour
