This is an excellent opportunity for a junior solicitor to develop their career within a specialist Construction practice. You will work closely with experienced partners and senior solicitors, gaining exposure to a broad range of construction matters and high-quality work from an early stage.
Responsibilities include:
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating construction contracts and associated documents
- Assisting on non-contentious construction matters, including procurement and risk allocation
- Supporting contentious matters such as adjudications and construction disputes
- Advising a diverse client base including housing associations, developers, contractors and consultants
- Managing your own matters with appropriate supervision and support
We are keen to hear from candidates who:
- 0 – 3 years’ PQE, ideally with some exposure to construction law
- Have a genuine interest in developing a career in construction and infrastructure
- Demonstrate good admin and file management, ability to analyse and advise on factual/legal issues, strong drafting skills, attention to detail, and commercial awareness
- Enjoy working collaboratively and building long-term client relationships
