Monkey Tree Holiday Park is a multi-award winning family run park known for its commitment to providing exceptional customer service. We are seeking a driven, confident and proactive Senior Reception & Sales Advisor to assist our Guest Experience Team here at Monkey Tree Holiday Park for the 2026 season. The ideal candidate will support operations to enhance the experience of our guests.
You will be providing an efficient and professional reception service, working to increase all bookings/sales and providing general administrative support.
This is offered on a Seasonal Contract until mid September 2026, with the potential to extend through Winter based on performance. Business hours for reception are 8am to 9pm in peak season from Monday to Sunday, which means flexibility is essential.
What you will be doing:
- Being the point of call for any Guest issues on Reception Manager days off and acting as the initial point of contact for all team queries.
- Proactively promote holiday homes, upgrades and additional services to enhance the guest experience.
- Greeting guests and checking them in and out of their accommodation.
- Providing first-rate, efficient, and flexible customer service.
- Answering all calls and emails promptly, adequately and in a polite manner.
- Dealing with all ad-hoc customer queries/complaints.
- Completing all general administrative duties.
- Dealing with third party booking agents.
- Providing support to other departments where necessary.
- Ensuring the team handle card payment transactions and log correctly.
What we are looking for:
- Infectious personality, warm and welcoming by nature. With a polite and friendly approach, with excellent oral/written communication skills.
- Proactive individual who is ahead of the game rather than reacting to needs of the park and its guests.
- Must work well under pressure, with the ability to lead teams.
- A target driven and sales orientated approach. Practical experience of working in a sales environment (desirable).
- Strong IT skills – Microsoft packages and booking system software.
- Excellent organisation skills, able to prioritise tasks as necessary.
- Flexible approach to working hours.
- Smart appearance and professional manner.
- Good sense of humour – essential!
