Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to residents in a care home setting, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being. This role requires effective communication skills and the ability to follow care plans while maintaining a supportive environment for individuals in need of assistance.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility.
Support individuals in following their personalised care plans, ensuring that their specific needs are met.
Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in residents' conditions to senior staff.
Foster a warm and friendly atmosphere by engaging residents in conversation and activities.
Ensure the cleanliness and safety of the care home environment.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.

Experience

Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is desirable but not essential.
A good command of English is required for effective communication with residents and team members.
Familiarity with IT systems for record-keeping and reporting is beneficial.
Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with residents and their families are essential.
