Full job description

We require an Electrical Supervisor to assist with the delivery of domestic projects, predominately in Swindon and the surrounding areas. The role will be to manage and deliver a variety of electrical works on our Social housing contracts including Solar P.V. ASHP, Ventilation, and Storage heater installations.

Main roles & responsibilities:

Responsible for all the Electrical services on site and the day to day supervision and monitoring of all ongoing work on site.
Liaise with and organise operatives.
Carry out quality checks to engineers and their installations.
Manage and control all areas of material stock control, including distribution of materials.
Liaise with clients and attend all relevant meetings.
Check and insist that all Health & Safety requirements are carried out and operative are issued and adhere to all risk assessments and method statements, and required P.P.E is worn on site.
Allocate work and ensure completion in accordance with the designated schedule.
Problem solve when issues arise on site.

Qualifications and experience:

Full UK driving licence.
Time-served electrician (5 years qualified).
2 years’ either supervisor or management level.
SMSTS or SSSTS (REQUIRED).
ECS / CSCS card
Comprehensive understanding of electrical installations, testing & inspection.
City & Guilds 2391 inspection and testing (or equivalent).
18th Edition.
Computer literate.
Excellent attention to detail, accurate and methodical in work to overcome challenges and see projects through to completion.
Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise well when managing multiple projects at the same time.
Ability to build good relationships and rapport with clients.
