Full job description

We have a great opportunity for a skilled, experienced PSV technician to join our friendly & busy engineering team at our purpose-built engineering facility. On a 4 on 4 off shift pattern.

About the Role

Our fleet is key to our service delivery – you’ll ensure our vehicles are safe, reliable and presented at their best every day. Your main duties will be:

· Carrying out vehicle inspections and MOT preparations

· Routine servicing and maintenance of the fleet

· Defect and rectification work

· Fault finding by diagnostic Equipment and repairs.

· Completion of all required paperwork to a high standard

· Qualifications, Skills and Experience

· Good housekeeping routines to meet health and safety standards.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

· HGV Engineering level 3 or other recognised qualifications (City and Guilds NVQ or equivalent) if not proven Industry experience. Training to IRTEC accreditation supported

· A good knowledge of the DVSA rule and legislations

· A full driving licence.

· Team player but able to work on own initiative with experience of working on a wide variety of makes of coaches

Desirable

· A PCV Licence

· IRTEC accreditation.

Salary and benefits for working with the Skills Group

· Starting from £22.00 per hour.

· 20 days holiday on a 4- on 4 off shift pattern
