Uniform4Kids are a family run School Uniform and Sportswear retailer with 5 stores and warehouse working work with over 175 schools.
We are currently recruiting for a warehouse assistant with the ability to drive and work as our second driver when needed delivering goods to our stores and schools. This position will be based in our Elstree warehouse WD6 3TN. This will be an initial contract until the end of Septemeber 2026
We are looking for friendly, self-motivated, enthusiastic, hard-working applicants.
Whilst being busy during the year we experience extremely demanding periods from July-September and during school holidays. Our staff are expected to work additional hours at this time of year.
Main Duties:
Second driver using company vans - this will required alongside a warehouse operative role when needed. When driving is not required you will be asked to work in the warehouse doing the following:
Checking in deliveries
Barcoding deliveries
Transfer stock to stores
Pick/Pack online orders
Stock counts
Attending school PR and selling events - these can take place outside of standard working hours
Ideal Candidate:
You will be ambitious, motivated and organised and an effective communicator with a positive attitude to work.
You must be able to work well on your own as well as part of a team.
Candidates will be expected to work 5 days per week increasing to 6 during the summer. Sunday hours will be required at the end of August/beginning of September to make deliveries to the stores.
A solid work ethic, lots of energy and a desire to help is vital.
