Maintenance Engineer (Electrical and Mechanical)

ESG Group Limited are currently looking for a multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to join our Glass Processing factory in Witham.
Working with an established engineering team, the role will have a high level of autonomy and technical challenges, providing front line maintenance support, and preventative maintenance tasks, ensuing our equipment is kept running smoothly, with the designed output and quality efficiency. The role will also involve electrical, Instrumentation and mechanical fault finding, plus accurate record keeping. Along with regular PPM and scheduled maintenance and improvement works, organisation of the maintenance store and bay, and participation in the Engineering teams breakdown and emergency call out service.
You will be responsible for ensuring deadlines are met and work is completed to an extremely high standard.
Day Shift - 45 Hrs per week, between the hours of 7:00am-5:30pm

About you - Essential
We’re looking for someone who has:
- A proven track record of electrical fault finding & ideally knowledge of PLC's
- Minimum 5 years in a production/ manufacturing environment in an engineering multi-skilled capacity
- Experience working on processing and manufacturing machinery, including dismantling and re-assembling all production equipment
- Preferrable recognised time served engineering apprenticeship/ NVQ3/ HNC/ City & Guilds 2382
- Team player and self motivated
