Full job description

Skilled engineer position

We are seeking skilled Alarm Engineers to join our team. The successful candidates will :

Role

Engineer - We are looking for an engineer with at least 2 years experience to join our team. Must be knowledgeable with alarm and cctv installations, maintaining of systems.

Duties

Install, configure, and commission alarm systems, including CCTV, and telecommunication infrastructure.
Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to ensure system functionality and compliance with safety standards.
Troubleshoot technical issues, carry out repairs.
Utilise hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment to carry out installation and maintenance tasks efficiently.
Document all work performed accurately in service reports and update system records accordingly.
Ensure adherence to health & safety regulations during all phases of installation and maintenance work

Skills

Good knowledge of computer networking principles relevant to alarm systems and security infrastructure.
Mechanical knowledge related to the installation of physical components using hand tools and power tools.
Experience with computer hardware setup and troubleshooting within security systems environments.
Electrical experience with wiring, circuit boards, power supplies, and schematics interpretation.
Familiarity with CCTV technology, including camera setup, configuration, and maintenance.
Knowledge of Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), Cctv and Fire alarm systems.
Understanding of telecommunication systems utilised in alarm network connectivity.
Experience working in construction or similar environments where safety protocols are essential. Pay: £25,000.00-£37,000.00 per year
