Office Assistant / Project Co-ordinator
Location: Sale, Greater Manchester

We are a growing structural steel company based in Sale and are looking for a highly organised and proactive Office Assistant / Project Co-ordinator to join our team.
This is a varied and fast-paced role that will involve supporting the successful delivery of structural steel projects from start to finish. The successful candidate will act as a key link between our office, site operatives, suppliers, and clients, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and professionally.
Key Responsibilities
- Co-ordinating multiple structural steel projects from commencement through to completion.
- Procuring materials, equipment, and site-specific requirements including skips, plant hire, access equipment, and other project necessities.
- Monitoring project progress and ensuring all elements are in place for smooth project delivery.
- Liaising with site operatives, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure works are progressing as planned.
- Acting as a primary point of contact for clients, providing updates and responding to enquiries.
- Maintaining accurate project records, schedules, and documentation.
- Assisting with general office administration and project support duties.
- Working closely with management to identify and resolve project-related issues.
Requirements
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a busy environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience in project co-ordination, administration, construction, engineering, or a related industry would be advantageous.
- A proactive approach with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
