William Booth College is a unique educational and residential community that supports the mission and work of The Salvation Army. The College provides learning, accommodation, hospitality, and support services for cadets, staff, visitors, and residents within a diverse and dynamic campus environment.
The Maintenance Assistant will be an important part of Estates team, contributing to the day-to-day upkeep, improvement, and reliability of the College estate.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Estates Team with their regular PPM Schedule.

Perform portering duties when office/flat/house or other equipment requires moving.

Perform general maintenance and repair of the building, grounds, and equipment including painting & decorating, carpentry, and basic electrical/plumbing repair works.

Ensure that all areas of the College are checked daily for general tidiness and cleanliness, and that accumulation of rubbish is removed to the skip.

Assist the groundsman as required in such duties as weeding, hoeing, mowing and collecting leaves.

Work as part of the Estates Team to ensure the overall aims of the College are achieved.

Provide flexible support across the College, assisting other departments where required and contributing to the smooth running of campus operations.
