Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Bricklayers Labourer to support our construction team on various projects. The successful candidate will assist with masonry and building tasks, ensuring smooth workflow and maintaining safety standards on-site. Responsibilities
- Assist bricklayers and masons with preparing materials and setting up work areas
- Handle hand tools, power tools, and masonry equipment safely and efficiently
- Mix mortar and carry bricks or blocks to designated areas
- Support with the installation of bricks, blocks, and other building materials as directed
- Assist with general site maintenance, including cleaning work areas and disposing of waste
- Follow health and safety regulations at all times to ensure a safe working environment
Qualifications
- Experience or familiarity with hand tools is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Basic understanding of construction site safety procedures
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Good physical fitness with the ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods
- Strong team player with a proactive attitude towards learning new skills
- Willingness to undertake training in bricklaying
