Ross Quality (RQ) are pleased to be recruiting for a M&E Clerk of Works (Electrical Bias) to work within our expanding Operations Team on a Fixed Term basis for 24 months. This is a full-time position offering 37.5 hours per week, working Monday to Friday in Manchester.

We’re growing — and we’re looking for an Electrically Biased M&E Clerk of Works/ Inspector who takes pride in doing things the right way, not the easy way.
THE ROLE
This is more than site inspections. You’ll be a trusted technical authority, ensuring electrical installations meet the highest standards of compliance, workmanship, and performance.
You will:
- Carry out detailed site inspections across a range of projects
- Monitor compliance with specifications, regulations, and industry standards
- Provide clear, professional reporting that drives action
- Engage confidently with contractors, consultants, and clients
- Champion quality, safety, and accountability on every project
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
You’re not just experienced — you’re passionate about quality.
- Strong electrical background (installation, inspection, or supervision)
- Knowledge of BS 7671, IET, and relevant compliance standards
- Experience in a Clerk of Works, Supervisor, or site inspection role
- Confident communicator who can challenge when standards aren’t met
- Detail-driven with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
