Full job description

Press Machine Operator

We’re looking for a Press Machine Operator to join a busy manufacturing team. If you have experience working with press machinery, transfer presses, or a strong mechanical background and are keen to learn, this could be a great opportunity for you.

What we’re looking for

Experience operating production machinery
Experience with press machinery or transfer presses would be advantageous
Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Someone reliable who takes pride in their work
Strong attention to detail
Willingness to learn and follow procedures
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

What you’ll be doing

Operating transfer press machinery (Plattarg presses)
Assisting with machine set-ups and loading materials
Monitoring product quality and production output
Carrying out basic machine maintenance and housekeeping
Following health & safety and quality procedures
Completing production paperwork accurately

Shift Pattern

Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 2:00pm
Flexibility to cover other shifts when required for holidays or long-term sickness absence

Pay Rates

Training rate: £13.05 per hour
£13.80 per hour once traine
