Golf Coordinator (Part-Time)
16–24 Hours Per Week | Flexible Hours Including Weekends
Shaw Hill Golf & Spa Hotel is seeking an enthusiastic and highly organised Golf Coordinator to join our expanding Sales Department.
This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same. We are looking for a personable, customer-focused individual with excellent attention to detail, strong sales ability, and previous experience within golf operations, golf administration, or golf coordination.
As on e of the key point of contact for our golf members, visitors, societies, and stay-and-play guests, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences while helping to drive membership and golf-related sales.

Key Responsibilities
Membership Management & Sales
* Build and maintain strong relationships with our existing golf members, ensuring they feel welcomed, valued, and supported.
* Manage membership enquiries, trials, sales, renewals, and onboarding processes.
* Identify opportunities to increase membership numbers and member engagement.
Golf Visitor & Society Coordination
* Coordinate bookings for golf visitors staying at the hotel, including:
* Stay and Play packages
* Golf breaks and mini-breaks
* Golf societies
* Corporate golf events and stays
* Act as one of the main point of contact for guests before, during, and after their visit, ensuring an outstanding customer experience.
Sales & Business Development
* Generate and secure tee sign sponsorship sales.
* Support initiatives to increase golf participation and revenue.
* Develop relationships with organisations such as England Golf and assist in launching and promoting "Get Into Golf" campaigns.
* Encourage and secure positive customer reviews across Google, Facebook, and TripAdvisor.
Golf Operations Support
* Update and maintain the BRS Golf booking system.
* Coordinate equipment requirements including buggies, scorecards, tee signs, and event materials.
* Liaise closely with the Director of Golf, greenkeeping team, and Golf Professional Shop to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
* Attend and coordinate course member and green staff meetings.
General Administration
* Assist with wider business enquiries as required.
* Prepare and create function sheets and supporting documentation for events and golf bookings.
* Maintain accurate records and ensure high standards of communication throughout.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
* Previous experience in a Golf Coordinator, Golf Administrator, Golf Operations, or similar role.
* Strong sales and customer service skills.
* Excellent organisational abilities and attention to detail.
* A professional, friendly, and approachable manner.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Confidence using booking and administration systems (experience with BRS Golf is advantageous).
* A genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Working Hours
* Part-time: 16–24 hours per week
* Flexible working pattern
* Weekend availability may be required
