Overview
We are seeking a motivated and energetic Glass Collector / Bar Back to join our vibrant hospitality team. This role is essential in supporting the bar and restaurant operations by ensuring a steady supply of clean glassware and assisting with various bar and service duties. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and a proactive attitude to deliver exceptional guest experiences. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to gain valuable experience within a dynamic environment.

This role is currently being offered as temporary (until the end of summer), however it has the potential to become a permanent role based on performance.

Responsibilities

Collect used glassware from tables, bar areas, and designated collection points efficiently and discreetly.
Wash, polish, and restock glassware to ensure availability for service at all times.
Assist bartenders with preparing garnishes, restocking supplies, and maintaining cleanliness behind the bar.
Support the serving team by delivering drinks and assisting with day-to-day duties, such as polishing cutlery, folding napkins, performing daily cleaning tasks etc.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including cleaning surfaces and equipment.
Monitor stock levels of glassware and supplies, notifying management of shortages or maintenance needs.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with guests and team members.

Experience

Ability to follow tasks and instructions.
Familiarity with serving procedures and basic bar operations will be beneficial.

Weekend availability - this role will be predominantly weekends between 10/11am-3/4pm.

Pay: £8.00-£12.71 per hour
