DASH Dog Walking are looking for a Dog Walker to permanently join our team!
We cover Denton, Gorton, Haughton Green, Reddish, Levenshulme, Burnage, The Heatons, Withington, Didsbury and surrounding areas.
The person we are looking for must love dogs, have experience working with dogs or animals, preferably have owned a dog and understand their needs and behaviour, love the outdoors (in all weather types) and be comfortable walking groups of dogs at a time.
The position will require working from around 8.45am to 3pm Monday-Friday. There are also opportunities to increase hours with our weekend adventure walks and dog sitting service we only offer to existing clients. You will need to have availability to work from 8.45am to 3pm Monday - Friday.
The role includes picking up dogs from clients houses, travelling to parks and nature reserves and walking dogs in groups of 4, ensuring the safety of yourself and the dogs at all times, filming and taking photos of the dogs and dropping dogs safely back home.
- You will be required to complete an emergency dog first and CPR course paid for by the company or have a valid certification already.
- You will need to be confident driving a company van to transport dogs.
- The applicant will need to be of good health and fitness to walk up to 10-15kms a day.
This position has paid holidays, national insurance and pension contributions. 8 days of this allowance is allocated to bank holidays when we are closed.
The applicant must have -
- A clean UK Driving License for a minimum of 3 years - You will be given a company van to drive with fuel expenses paid
- Have access to the internet on a mobile phone and experience using social media (Facebook & Instagram) and taking videos/photos to upload on walks
- DBS Check
- Experience working with dogs or animals or your own dog and a love for the outdoors.
