Full job description

Security Officer - Durham

Are you a dedicated and reliable individual with a passion for ensuring safety and security?We are currently seeking a Security Officer to join our dynamic team. As a Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a secure environment. This position involves working 2 days per week work (Saturday 1000-1800 and Sunday 1100-1700). Overtime is available to cover holidays during the week.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct foot patrols and control room duties as required
Utilise your excellent telephone and computer skills to perform necessary security tasks
Maintain accurate records by completing Daily Occurence Books and timely reporting
Respond promptly to incidents and emergencies, ensuring appropriate actions are taken
Adhere to all security procedures and protocols to safeguard assets and personnel
Requirements
SIA Licence; Security Guarding or Door Supervisor
Proven experience in a Security related role is preferred although full training will be provided.
Strong communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
Flexibility to work a combination of shifts.
Basic computer skills
A responsible and trustworthy attitude
