About the role

This is a relief position covering 16 locations across Edinburgh, Broxburn and West Calder.

A driving license and access to a car is preferred.

Job Description

Accurately handing out prescription medications to patients.
Providing exceptional customer service and addressing patient queries.
Maintaining detailed and accurate patient records.
Delivering exceptional standards through operational compliance to ensure efficiency and maximise profitability.
Managing stock, including ordering, date checking, and organizing medications.
Ensuring compliance with all legal and professional requirements.
Collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and promote our services.

What you’ll need to have.

We’re offering you an exciting opportunity to start on your professional journey. You will need to have experience of working with customers and be willing to complete training as a dispensing assistant (NVQ 2 qualification).

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in using different IT systems.

Our Benefits

Monday - Friday 9am-6pm, 60 min unpaid break (40h per week - please note, the contract will reduce to 32h per week in 12 months due to one day being a maternity leave cover).
£12.95ph starting rate for trainee dispenser
Potential to complete further training and further career progression.
Holidays – 28 days per year pro rata
