Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Apprentice Solicitor (Level 7) to join our reputable legal team. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your legal skills and gain practical experience within a professional environment. The successful candidate will work closely with experienced solicitors, contributing to a variety of legal matters while progressing towards full qualification. A strong interest in law, coupled with excellent communication skills is essential for this role.

Duties

Assist solicitors in preparing legal documents, contracts, and case files
Conduct legal research and analyse relevant legislation and case law
Attend client meetings and take detailed notes to support case development
Draft correspondence, reports, and other legal documentation accurately and efficiently
Organise and maintain case files in accordance with firm procedures
Participate in internal training sessions to enhance legal knowledge and professional skills
Contribute to the overall organisation of the legal department by managing administrative tasks as required

Requirements

5 GCSEs grade 4-9 plus 3 A levels at minimum grade C
Demonstrable interest in pursuing a career as a solicitor
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in British English
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in legal research tools and Microsoft Office applications is desirable
A proactive attitude with keen attention to detail and confidentiality
