Working Foreman / Supervisor – Preston

£23.50 per hour (CIS) | Immediate Start | 6+ Months Work

TimesGroup Ltd is looking for an experienced Working Foreman / Supervisor to join our team on a large apartment refurbishment project in Preston.

This is a hands-on supervisory role, and applicants must come from a trade background as a Painter & Decorator, Plasterer or Joiner. You will be responsible for supervising refurbishment teams while also carrying out trade works where required to help maintain programme.

Start Date: Monday 20th July 2026

This is a long-term opportunity with a minimum of 6 months' work on this project, with further projects available for the right candidate.

Duties include:

Supervising teams of operatives across multiple apartment refurbishments.
Leading by example and carrying out trade works where required.
Monitoring quality and ensuring works are completed to a high standard.
Coordinating daily activities to maintain programme.
Liaising with Site Management and reporting progress.
Ensuring Health & Safety procedures are followed at all times.
Assisting with snagging and final handovers.

Requirements:

Previous experience as a Working Foreman, Supervisor or Chargehand.
Trade background in Painting & Decorating, Plastering or Joinery.
Valid CSCS Card.
SSSTS or SMSTS.
Own transport.
Strong organisational and communication skills.
Ability to supervise teams whilst remaining hands-on.
Reliable, proactive and able to work under minimal supervision.

What we offer:

£23.50 per hour (CIS)
Weekly payments.
Minimum 6 months' work.
Immediate start.
Opportunity for ongoing work beyond this project.
Minimum 45 hours per week, 7.30am - 4.30pm Mon - Fri.
