We’re looking for a passionate, hands-on Front of House Supervisor / Assistant General Manager to help lead our team at The Kings Head Inn — a busy, well-loved destination pub offering great food, quality drinks, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

With two fully stocked bars, a popular gastro restaurant, function space, and boutique bedrooms, this is a fantastic opportunity to step into a leadership role where no two days are the same.

The role

You’ll be the face of the business on shift — leading from the front, inspiring the team, and making sure every guest has a brilliant experience.

You’ll be:

Delivering exceptional service that keeps customers coming back
Leading, coaching, and motivating the front of house team
Overseeing day-to-day operations, from opening to close
Maintaining high standards across food, drink, and service
Handling customer feedback with confidence and professionalism
Supporting stock control, cellar management, and ordering
Driving sales and helping maximise profitability

What we’re looking for

Experience in a pub, bar, or restaurant leadership role
A natural people person with confidence and charisma
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
The ability to stay calm and lead under pressure
A hands-on approach and a real passion for hospitality
Commercial awareness and understanding of running a venue

A personal licence is a bonus, but not essential.
